Hurray! The War is Over!!!
Speak... comfortably to Jerusalem... that her warfare
is accomplished... (Isaiah 40:2)
And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise
thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou
comfortedst me. (Isaiah 12:1)
Our message is that God was making all human beings his
friends through Christ... We were sent to speak for Christ, and GOD IS BEGGING
YOU TO LISTEN to our message. (2 Corinthians 5:19 GNB,
20 CEV emphasis mine)
Roll out the drums, IT IS FINISHED!
Celebration for a MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
Heaven gates are now open so freely
IT’S FOR REAL, come on in to the holies
God and man in a new pact
Heart to heart touching, just like that?
A relationship in fellowship can now start
Even angels would wish to say “congrats!”
But it meant HELL to our Lord
Our Captain’s pains not for words
The Cross, the peak of wrath poured
Just to put a lasting end to the discord
Finally He came and preached peace
Sins blotted, God’s smiles and kiss
Old things passed, a new covenant of His
Oh! Can anything be as beautiful as this?
Heaven came down and glory filled my soul,
when at the cross the Savior made me whole;
my sins were washed away,
and my night was turned to day
What can be like the gift of Eternal Life?
After our toils in sins, sorrow and hopeless nights
Redemption dawned on us just in due time
Father declares, “No more wrath”, and justifies
Hmmm! Taking some deeper breath at this level...
It’s coming with tears as I marvel
Man and deaf ears, adamant as Adam and stiff-necked
“Who hath believed our report”, Isaiah lamented
Oh that when it’s all been said and done
At the anticipated return of the coming One
That your only regret be not “Oh I listened not”
Let it not be you in fire burning so hot
So we have piped unto you now, please dance!
The goodness of God leads you unto repentance
Just come, oh come; the Spirit and the bride say “come”
The Marriage feast is set! Be a part of this kingdom

Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;
but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your
consciences. (2 Corinthians 5:11)
Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature:
old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things
[are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given
to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling
the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath
committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for
Christ, as though God did beseech [you] by us: we pray [you] in Christ's stead,
BE YE RECONCILED TO GOD. (2 Corinthians 5:17-20 KJV)
And came and preached PEACE to you which were afar off, and
to them that were nigh. (Ephesians 2:17)
And the Spirit and the bride say, COME. And let him that
heareth say, COME. And let him that is athirst COME. And whosoever will, let
him take the water of life FREELY. (Revelation 22:17)
And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to
the wedding: and they would not come. Again, he sent forth other servants,
saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen
and [my] fatlings [are] killed, and all things [are] ready: come unto the
marriage. But THEY MADE LIGHT OF [IT], and went their ways, one to his farm,
another to his merchandise: And the remnant took his servants, and entreated
[them] spitefully, and slew [them]. But when the king heard [thereof], he was
wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and BURNED up
their city. (Matthew 22:3-7 KJV)
Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance
and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to
repentance? (Romans 2:4 KJV)
And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I liken the men of
this generation? and to what are they like? They are like unto children sitting
in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, We have piped unto
you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept.
(Luke 7:31-32 KJV)
Jesus... said, It is finished... (John 19:30 KJV)
Blessed [are] they which are called unto the marriage supper
of the Lamb... These are the true
sayings of God. (Revelation 19:9 KJV)
